From mise en place to a beautiful creation on the plate, you feel at home in the kitchen and can showcase your skills. Taking responsibility for your own section in the kitchen is no problem for you either.
As you enter the workplace, you're greeted by the lively chaos. You exchange greetings with your kitchen colleagues and wave to the busy bar and service staff. You discuss with the chef what still needs to be done for mise en place. Are there any special requests, and are there any large groups coming in? Tasks are assigned, and together with your colleagues, you ensure that lunch dishes are flying out the door and everything is ready for another busy evening. In between, you share a joke with the dishwasher, compliment your colleague on a beautiful dish, and ask the service staff if all guests are satisfied. Your shift flies by!
About The Market Hotel
The Market Hotel has 123 rooms spread across six floors. We offer 7 different room types for our guests, catering to everyone's preferences! On the ground floor, we have a restaurant with 250 seats and two terraces. One terrace at the Grote Markt with 300 chairs and one terrace at the Nieuwe Markt with about 50 chairs. Due to the favorable location of our terrace on the Oostwand, you can enjoy the sun here the longest. The theme of our restaurant is Old Dutch in a new style. Regarding the menu: Accessibility is the new keyword. Not fine-dining cuisine, but delicious food for everyone with a Dutch touch.
