From mise en place to a beautiful creation on the plate, you feel at home in the kitchen and can show off your skills here! It is also no problem for you to be responsible for your own department in the kitchen.When you arrive at work, you are already walking into the cozy chaos. You greet your colleagues in the kitchen and wave to the busy bar and wait staff. You discuss with the chef what still needs to be done at the mise en place. Are there any special details and are there any large groups coming? The tasks are divided. Together with yourcolleagues you make sure the lunch dishes fly out the door and that everything is ready for another busy evening. In between, you joke with the dishwasher, compliment your colleague on a beautiful dish and ask the waiter if all the guests are satisfied. Your shift flies by!

Working on Vlieland

On Vlieland we have two hotels and a beach pavilion. Our family business once started with Hotel de Wadden in the Dorpsstraat, Strandhotel Seeduyn is located on the beach and there you will also find the only large beach pavilion on the island, namely 't Badhuys. Vlieland is a tourist island with great white beaches and a cozy village, with the necessary pubs. In the summer it is called Vliebiza, in the winter it is mainly a place to enjoy the us-custom-us coziness with your colleagues. Vlieland also has beautiful nature.
